A shockwave of magic burst from Morgana’s hand in a perfect circle. All of the knights were thrown back; they fell to the ground, unconscious.

All except one.

Morgana stared in disbelief, her hand still outstretched before her.

Then she burst out laughing.

“You? You have magic?”

Gwaine tightened his grip on his sword.

“That a problem?”

Morgana ground her teeth together and lowered her hand.

“Why do you serve Camelot? Why stick by Arthur’s side?”

“Well, out of all the Pendragons I’ve met so far, he’s the only one who isn’t a complete psychopath.”

“Don’t compare me to Uther, you traitor. I am nothing like him, he who denigrated who I am.”

“Hey, I get why you’re angry. But this isn’t the way to go about it.”

“You think Arthur will accept you?”

Gwaine straightened himself up to his full height. “He already has.”

Morgana’s eyes widened. “You’re lying.”

“Well why don’t we wake him up and ask him?” Gwaine pointed at Arthur, lying on the ground.
